The Homestead Property
Protecting this land is important because we stand to lose what matters most, changing the ecological value of this wild and free habitat. Also, the Red Rocks on this property are the last remaining untouched example of the Ancestral Rockies and the heartbeat of the Roxborough Park neighborhood.
The location of the Homestead property is a donut hole in the middle of Arrowhead golf course. Its topology consists of 300 million year old Fountain Formation Red Rocks that are a continuation of the same Red Rocks from Roxborough State Park immediately next door.
